Mónica Acebedo was born in Bogotá, Colombia. She holds a law degree from Universidad de los Andes and a master's degree and PhD in literature from the same university. She is a professor of literature and law at the Universidad de los Andes. Directs the Continuing Education Reading Club at the Universidad de los Andes. She has directed and coordinated reading groups since 2002.
She is the author of books such as: "Half-truths", "The enigma of the amulet", "The child of mud" and "Parsley".
The goal of this project was to highlight Mónica Acebedo's literary voice and creativity online, developing a visual identity that captures the essence of her work.
